Have you ever wanted to travel but don't know where?
Dominican Republic is a country with an incredible history and culture, and is one of those places that will take your breath away when first seen. The people are friendly yet guarded at once; their accents come from all over as well different languages such as Spanish or French which gives it more flavor than most Latin American countries have got going on for them! And then there's Las Terrenas... This beautiful town offers so much in terms beauty-both natural (island beaches) and manmade like plush resorts perfecting every detail imaginable before making it onto land.

Getting to the Island

The journey from Santo Domingo to Las Terrenas is an exciting one. The landscape changes quickly, and you'll find yourself in a completely different world with the turn-by road leading up towards Pico Duarte National Park & Barranca de Montería - home of some pretty breathtaking views!

Exploring the Island

The best way to explore the island is by foot. There are many hidden gems on this walk, such as an old cartridge firing range that has been turned into a small park with art installations from various artists all over the world! I recommend taking guided tours through Las Terrenas since most businesses close at night so you can go sightseeing without any distractions or concerns about getting lost- just bundle up if it's cold out!
